National Camp 2008
Hey people, I am back from the camp already. Shall share my experience.
First day
Took train with Terence, Mustaqim and Jason to Pasir Ris and took cab to SAF Terminal Jetty. Was quite looking forward to the camp till. . .
The HQ Staff were unable to control the campers. Nvm, shall cut it short. Went to the campsite and get ready to welcome President S R Nathan to open the camp officially. Then was being called back to do Logistic already. Waiyazz.zz.zz.zz.. Working me at Logistic were a bunch of J08 Cadet Inspector. Now I know how Cadet Inspectors are being trained. Shall share that later on. Was like stoning for the whole day. And also, wave to Shativalan and Hazirah. ON most occassion they did not see me. Sigh~~~
Packed dinner for the campers of Division C. Saw Terence's cadet inside. LOL!
Second day
Ask Jason not to go off and he still go. Was seriously outnumbered by those no-brain people.Nvm, Nvm. Forcefully get passed the day that seems so hard to get passed.
Third day
No I know when people are stress, they do all sorts of things to get what THEY want DONE. A HQ Staff ah, told me to get chairs. Other helpers were not helping, so I helped. After that, when was walking towards her direction, she shouted so loud say, "Can you all hurry up!". Think that I'm a robot ah? I seems to lost all the respect I've for her initially. Will not care so much already. Campfire. Lagi best. Got people use microphone to sing. Sing ald off-tune. Then while the rest are singing cheers, the rest carry on taking photos. This is so disrespectful for the MC as well as the group performing. No comments on the campfire. But I know the Scouts did put in the effort, unlike the CIs(from Logistic). (Never say me and my frens ah)
Fourth day
Area cleaning. This is where I want to comment on the efficiency of the j08, a D07 and a J06 CIs in Logistic. All of them are just talking and chit-chatting while I and Jason are dismantle-ing the tent. What is this lor, call yourself CIs. COme on, even my unit cadets are better than them. KNow what to do, can ask me what to do. Just do not want to scold and shout at them since all are CIs. Lost for words. J08 CIs(Logistic) are totally hopeless! During the camp while doing Logistic, while I'm working, they can sit down, chit-chat and eat!WTF! J08 CIs are also been told that first aider save birds(e.g.Pigeon) isit? What are them doing? While having free time, bring an injured bird over, with open wound. Expect me to save. If you do not know how to save the bird, might as well not touch it. Say what want to end its suffering. Seriously, brainless bunch of Cadet Inspectors.
Came back from the camp totally restless. Slept for the day and woke up today to blog about this. Sigh~ The next national camp hosted by NPCC will be year 2012. So long.
